I joined One Community United because I believe we have a serious problem of racial injustice in our country and I want to be part of the solution and not the problem. Before I joined OCU, I was heartened to see that other citizens both black and white had already joined and that I was not alone in wanting to create a just civil society for all Americans. Since the 1950’s we have made much progress as one Nation, but we still have so far to go.  ONE COMMUNITY UNITED.  Local people  working together on local problems. It’s who we are. It’s who we will be. Only more so. Only better.
